Pain and Temperature

This episode looks at the major types of nociceptors, pain transduction, transmission and pain perception.  We also discuss pain modulation, nociceptive/neuropathic pain and headaches.  Then we discuss how the body maintains body temperature as well as the extremes of hyperthermia and hypothermia.
