Thank you for listening to this episode and leaving a response, Karen. I am so sorry you are struggling with DM - I know it’s a daily challenge. I was hoping that this podcast would reach folks, like you, who are living with these challenges every day. If I can help you understand what is happening to your body, then hopefully, the symptoms you feel and the treatments recommended, will make more sense to you. You are a warrior!

I listened to the entire podcast while cleaning and first I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear friend to DKA 😞 that is heartbreaking. My thoughts are as follows: beautiful podcast voice and a very good pace for both new and old students. The pace is perfect to light up my memory of all these endo processes from college but also a great pace to learn some of the unknown to me processes. I rewound at 2 key teachable moments to better absorb the knowledge, especially in the area of nerve damage. Additionally I thought it was outstanding in the linear format you used to segue between subjects. That is actually my favorite part of the podcast because my wonderful ADHD brain could follow you and not get lost in transition. I am sorry to hear your sister suffers from diabetes. Thank you for being aware with your students ❤️ I did not have this during my studies and ended up in the hospital a few times. I think this podcast was spot on ! I would love to hear more on the other types of diabetes and how they cross over as mine has... leading to an even more difficult time achieving homeostasis. Thank you for what you are doing for your students ❤️
